The BCS 710 power unit features a single forward and reverse gearbox activated through a hydraulic clutch. The all-gear system provides excellent power and durability whilst the clutch allows for the quick engagement and release of the drive and implement. A key safety feature of the powersafe clutch is its ability to stop the wheels and the impliment very quickly once the operator presence lever has been released.
The simple controls of the 710 are easy to master and an additional parking brake is useful when transporting the power unit in vehicles or if stopping on a slope. The handlebars rotate 180 degrees allowing the user to operate digging attachments in one direction and grass cutting in the other. In addition, the speeds of the 710 are such that the machine operates faster when grass cutting than it does whilst rotovating.
